"My Board sought the services of Argus Probity in February 2014 to advise on the governance and probity procedures from the Board level to our staff, external consultants and the conduct of the major companies represented on our Board, two of whom were “parent” companies of contractors to the Stage 1 Project presently coming to completion"
"Argus Probity designed and drafted a procurement probity governance system with appropriate safeguards including strict “Chinese Walls” to which we adhered and were an important factor in satisfying the State to appoint GoldlinQ to become the operator/franchisee of the Stage 2 operation."
"The State approved of the standards which Argus proposed and entered into a tri-partite agreement with Argus Probity to act also as their Probity Advisor for the EOI and RFT processes and ongoing to the award of the contract"

Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC)
(Ms Tania Webb, former Senior Category Manager) “Argus was appointed as the Probity Advisor for the Commonwealth Games from July 2016 to April 2018. They supplied professional services for 14 separate procurements. Argus also provide probity workshops for the Procurement and Category Managers. All of the probity activities were conducted professionally and of a high standard. One procurement activity that I undertook had a complex conflict of interest raised. The expert guidance and support provided by Lindsey provided a satisfactory outcome to both GOLDOC and the Contractor.”".

“I have been consistently satisfied with the services provided by Lindsey Alford of Argus Probity. At all times he has supported me as chair of the panel, with consideration, skill and balance. He has sought to develop a detailed understanding of the processes we were undertaking, made efforts to understand the risks and elements where potential probity issues could occur. He contributed well in meetings, responded promptly to communication and assisted effectively when concerns were identified.”
Excellence of Performance
Queensland Government Procurement Office Review
A responsibility of being a provider of Probity Advisor and Audit Services under the Whole-of Government Standing Offer Arrangement QGP0050-18, is furnishing a quarterly report of probity assignments undertaken, referencing the Procurement Contract Numbers, the Agency or Government Customer, and fees charged. Additionally, the Queensland Government Procurement Office, the Department of Housing and Public Works, conducts a bi-annual Performance Review by contacting the Agency or Government Customers to review the performance of each provider of Probity Audit and Advisor Services. Argus Probity most recent performance review was concluded with a report on 8 October 2019.
Argus Probity was categorised as excellent by each customer on a five-point scale from “very poor” to “excellent” and scored the maximum of 5 on each of the three questions asked of the customers:
- Question 1. How satisfied were you with the level of services provided? If not, why?
- Question 2. How satisfied were you with the timing of services provided? If not, why?
- Question 3. Did the supplier keep you informed of the progress of the assignment?
Three customer feedback comments were reported:
- 1. "Argus Probity is in a very unique field of being able to understand an evaluation process to assess and where needed promote Medical Specialists to the role of eminent or pre-eminent. Probity of this process needs to be rigid as it can be, and has been tested in court”.
- 2. “Argus are there whenever we need them. We are clearly a priority for their business. Brilliant.”
- 3. “The supplier was even proactive going above and beyond what was required to keep us informed.”
It is this quality of customer service which Argus Probity prides itself on providing.
